Cozumel, Mexico Charters

For charter boat reservations (either fishing or diving) we do require a deposit confirmed with a Visa, M/C, AmEx, Discover or payable through PayPal. Or if you prefer, ask us to send you a PayPal invoice.
The remaining balance (charter cost less deposit) is due in full in cash or traveler's checks at the beginning of your charter.
If you are planning to pay with pesos, balance due will be at that day's exchange rate, not less.
We apologize that a few have ruined for the many, but we do not take payment in full on credit card.
We can take only up to 50% on a credit card at time of booking, not later.
We do not automatically retain credit card information. Nor can we access, so you will need to inform us of this information either a second time, or at time of booking to avoid delays on your charter.
Shared charters payments are required in full at time of booking. Different rates apply for shared charters when we put your group together.
Cancellations due to bad weather with an inability to reschedule, a full refund is made. Please keep in mind, the Captain of the Port of Cozumel determines port closings, not us.
Cancellations made less than 2 weeks of charter date or "no shows", deposit is non-refundable.
Refund of deposits will incur a $25 charge to cover administrative costs.
Refunds will generally require you to phone in again with your credit card information.
"No shows" for fishing or diving does not constitute a refund of your deposit. Please remember that we could have taken others out.
Once you depart there will be no partial refunds for returned trips due to sea sickness or diving one tank versus the two or three planned.
Trips that return in early will not be able to return to original fishing grounds for any remaining passengers, nor will there be partial refunds for difference in fishing times, unless a port closing is responsible.

At the time of booking, the required deposit payment is 50% of the total amount including Mexico's value added tax which currently means an additional charge of 12%.
The balance is due 15-30 days prior to the beginning of the rental period. This is dependent upon the owners of your rental.
Please be advised that payments are not refundable. We strongly advise you to purchase travel insurance which can protect you from many of the eventualities that may necessitate a cancellation. We provide insurance application for Access America ( www.accessamerica.com
) or you can call them toll-free at 1.800.284.8300.

When your deposit is received, a letter or e-mail of receipt and further instructions and details will be sent to you. Upon full deposit, a voucher letter or e-mail will be sent to you.
Also, please be aware that a reservation is not valid until we have explicitly confirmed it with you.
Provided we have your flight arrival information, the first arriving group will be met at your property by a representative. The representative is responsible for meeting the first group that arrives.
Transfers to the home are via airport van, which you are responsible for cost. Meeting subsequent arrivals is the responsibility of the guests who have already arrived. If you are arriving via ferry please contact us with your arrival information into Cancun and we will give you further instructions. Please do not forget to provide us with your flight schedule.
All rentals include property greeting, property orientation, maid service and purified bottled water.
The name of the house manager and all contact information is provided along with your voucher.
We are often asked what is customary regarding tipping so we provide the following information. We suggest that each member of your party tip the maid $1.00 (U.S.)per day of cleaning. For example if there are four guests staying in the unit for one week with 3 days of maid service the suggested tip would be $12.00 (U.S.) which is $4.00 per day of maid service.
All bed linens, bed blankets and bath towels are provided. The homes are not furnished with beach towels or beach blankets.
If another party is arriving at the home on the day of your departure, checkout time is 10:00 AM. If you have a late flight out, we will hold your luggage. Check in time is 2:00 PM, again we will hold your luggage if needed.
We do not own or manage these properties. We are only trying to help provide some alternative accommodations. Rules and rates are subject to change without our knowledge.
